Dr. Andrew Boxer holds dual board certifications, in both gastroenterology and internal medicine. His special interests include liver disease, as well as performing upper endoscopies and colonoscopies. No matter what he’s doing in the medical arena, Dr. Boxer’s top priority is always the patient.
Dr. Boxer earned his medical degree from Rutgers’ medical school in New Brunswick in 2007. He then completed his residency training in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital, followed by a gastroenterology fellowship with New York University. He received his board certifications in 2010 (internal medicine) and 2013 (gastroenterology).
